I've been in a pretty good mood as of late; I can't really complain at all at this point. Sitting here listening to some old(er) Raheem DeVaughn, trying not to yawn my head off, and hoping this last almost hour of work goes by quickly. -yawns- it's been a long and busy day. But it's good.
Wednesday is my favorite day of the work week.
Odd, right? Well only because it signifies that the worst days are gone, and the weekend is around the corner. Who doesn't love weekends? No one, that's who. Even the anti-social kid you see at Panera focused so intently on his laptop while slurping his broccoli and cheese soup loves weekends. It's a known fact. I can't wait for the weekend. Not sure what I want to do yet but - -yawns- I hope it'll be good. Now if only I could stop yawning.
You know what's been weird lately? Re-connecting with people I knew back in Prep school. 10 years ago, wow, that's a hella long time right? It is. And then one day, they just show up again. Facebook is a powerful tool. Might be even more powerful than MySpace if you really think about it ... but it's been great catching up with old friends. Hopefully we stay connected and ANOTHER 10 years doesn't go back. I feel so old. 10 years, lol. I started the 7th grade when I was 9 years old. Yes. Really. I AM a certified genius, no bullshit. So I don't feel TOO bad.
But still. People my age can't even begin to be on the level that I'm on. I think that's why I don't really relate to my age group, and gravitate towards older people. Something to think about.
I gotta stop yawning though.
Eric took the kids to the zoo today! And sent me pictures of the penguins cuz he knows they're my favorite :"> I'm going to St. Louis towards the end of August so he can take meee to the zoo. w00t, much? Much. My obsession with penguins is probably unhealthy but who gives a hoot.

I am glad you have been in a good mood. Everyone seems so much happier now, not sure why but let's keep that up.
I agree the weekend is going to be nice to look forward too. Then we have July 4th coming up. Ah, what bliss.

Lol Wednesdays? Hmmmmm I'd say Wednesday is my third favorite day of the week, usually because I don't have class on Wednesday but that'll change next semester.
And honestly you have every right to say people in our age group aren't on your level. You're level of maturity would probably overwhelm some of the people I know its crazy. Thats why I was I admired you for what you had said, you really know what to say, others, just blow me off and say,"oh you'll be fine".
