Do something stupid when you're angry;

I've been doing a lot of self-realization as of late; and something I've realized that bothers me to no end is that I loathe when other people make decisions for me. But technically, they aren't FOR me, but they affect me. And if they affect me I feel I should have some say in them, don't you think? It's like when you were younger and you pretty much did whatever your parents decided for you. It's like that. But I'm not a kid anymore (sometimes unfortunately) so it becomes a little more than unsettling that these events occur.

I have to stop allowing that.

I also have to stop allowing these friends of convenience to run rampant through my life. "Fair-weather friends" that are only around when things are fine and dandy; the world is gorgeously sunny and wonderful, but the minute a dark cloud appears they are nowhere to be found. That's unacceptable; I will no longer accept it. For people will take and take just as long as you keep giving and when the ratio shifts from 50-50 to 75-25 it's an indication that you need to re-evaluate if it's even worth it. Oftentimes it's not and that's just the way the cookie crumbles.

That is why I don't like cookies.

You'll only wake up sad.

I don't like cookies, either.

& you never did give me that cupcake.

Hmph.

But I was just thinking about 'fair-weather friends' a few days ago- I call 'em Jokers.

You say tomatoes, blah blah...

But yeah, glad to see you're kickin' that whackness out of your life.

Hush up & smile, though.

It's getting warmer outside, & it feels too good to just be upset all day.
