If I had one wish, we would be best friends.

It's funny how certain things take you back to a time in your life you thought you had completely forgotten about. Not me, I remember virtually everything but certain songs transport me back in time, and it will be so vivid I'd almost think it were real. Then I flash back to reality. I've realized that many, if not all of my memories are audio stimulated. That probably has something to do with my very [un]healthy(?) obsession with music. Whatever the case may be, as I sit here listening to my iPod, it hit me. My weakness is I expect too much from people. Also, caring too much but that's a whole 'nother story in a whole 'nother book. -tsks-

But the saying goes "If you have no expectations, you'll have no disappointments" and I'm really starting to wonder if that's true. Perhaps not entirely but it might hold a grain of truth in there. Now, I'm not one to have low, much less no expectations for people. But I can't help think how much better my life would be if I just ... stopped. No one lives up to the expectations I have of them. I have high hopes for them, while all the while they're constantly aiming low. I can't want your dream for you, more than you. That makes no sense. It's not my dream, it's yours. I'll do all I can in the end but when a new day comes upon us, I'm not really going to waste my time helping some achieve something they don't really want. That's stupid. And momma didn't raise no fool.

I'm tired.

When am I not tired, you ask? I don't know. I went to bed ridiculously early too and still tired. I succumbed to the exhaustion and went to sleep around 9:30pm. That's ridiculousness! I wasn't really doing much of anything, even though I had plenty to do, but I just sat around and attempted to watch Mr. Bean's Holiday and have sushi. Lovelovelove sushi. It was superb ^_^

I need to update my flickr. Well, I did so go check it out (CLICK! CLICK! CLICK!) but there are other photos I haven't even bothered to look at after I uploaded them. It's been a hectic past couple of weeks and it will probably get even more so. I'll try to do better though. I'm off to go peruse Sears' website so I can use Eric's discount to get my camera ;D w00t.
