If you prick me, I will be bleed. If I am happy, I will smile. If I am sad, I will be cry.And if I'm disappointed? I damn sure will show it. Why? Because I'm a sensitive human being. Perhaps overly sensitive but that, I've found, is not something I can control. Despite my new found insight into the world and my place in it, despite my all new old attitude towards approaching life; generally not giving a damn and doing whatever I want - I can't help but fall right back into the same old routine.
Why do I expect so much from the human race?
It's common knowledge that the world has reached a point where its never been, a point where the entire planet seems to be one consecutive letdown after the next. Not discounting the fact that peace is the "new thing to believe" in, the world as we know it is positively shoddy.
Why then do I act surprised when people behave in a predictable manner?
I don't know, maybe I want something to believe.
Something to reedem the human race. Pfft! Good luck.

i agree with you 100%.
This is true but if you don't have any little bit of faith in humanity, what is there to live for?
I try to have faith, even when it seems like it's absolutely pointless.
Smile Stacey.
You look much prettier when you do.
And as far as being disappointed at people's predictable behaviors? Stop expecting so much and you won't get disappointed. Don't expect anything then whatever you'll get will already be more than enough.
The thing is, I do have faith in humanity. And this is probably why I'm ever so disappointed when I'm proven wrong. I want to believe but sometimes believing is quite hard to do.
But you're right, if I expect nothing, I can't be mad when I get nothing, and will be grateful if I do.
"If I am sad, I will be cry."
Awwwwwwwwwwwww.

I agree with with this. I mean humanity tends to rise and fall. Its like we try to control tha planet, but usually the planet lets us know that we're not always in control. It really bothers me when, there are dudes out there that say they've never cried or showed any sense of emotion. If thats the case something is wrong with that person.
you act surprised maybe because you're expecting the "human race" to get better.
When you want the humanity rise we fall, when we see humanity falling it actually rises.
